christened the newly built stage at Pot Black in Bury St. Edmunds with a well attented gig. The audience went wild, bought CDs, and were even asking for autographs! More of this in 2003 please...

14 December 2002 - Spex Play at The Fighting Cocks Winfarthing

played a return gig at The Fighting Cocks, Winfarthing and won new converts to the cause. Chug, a dirty, funky instrumental, went down particularly well.

August 2002 - Vague Name Change for Men in Spex

It has been decided that should shorten their name to just , as it sounded good when anounced at the Prior's Inn gig. The single word looks a lot better as a logo too.

26 July 2002 - Spex Play at Charity Gig at the Priors Inn, Bury St. Edmunds

played at a charity gig at the Priors Inn, Bury St. Edmunds on 26 July 2002. At this outing, it was decided (by the singer) to call ourselves "spex".
